We took on the task of compiling a "Top 10 Alternate Universe Spider-Man Action Figures". Now, these versions of Spider-Man are not from the Marvel Universe that we all know, Earth-616. So your basic Peter Parker/ Spider-Man has been left off this list. These had to be Spider-Men from different universes, timelines, and realities.
Spider-Ham - Marvel Legends - Hasbro
Alter Ego: Peter Benjamin Porker
First Appearance: Marvel Tails Starring Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham #1 (November 1983)
Created By: Tom DeFalco and Mark Armstrong
Our Take: A long time fan-favorite and probably the first alternate universe Spider-Man character. After a long time, Spider-Ham finally joined Hasbro's Marvel Legends line. The caveat was that since he was so small in stature, he came with Venom's Build-A-Figure torso piece.
Spider-Punk - Marvel Legends - Hasbro
Alter Ego: Hobie Brown
First Appearance: Amazing Spider-Man Vol 3 #10
Created By: Dan Slott and Olivier Coipel
Our Take: Who wouldn't want this alternate universe Spider-Man where he joined a punk band. This is one of the cooler than cool figures on our list. Even if you don't know his full story, the figure alone is worth picking up.
Spider-Girl - Marvel Legends - Hasbro
Alter Ego: Ashley Barton
First Appearance: Wolverine Vol 3 #67
Created By: Mark Millar
Our Take: The only "Spider-Man" villain on this list. This is the daughter of Clint Barton (aka Hawkeye) and the granddaughter of Peter Parker from the "Old Man Logan" storyline. She's just a bit of bitch, trust us.
Spider-Man Noir - Marvel Legends - Hasbro
Alter Ego: Peter Parker
First Appearance: Spider-Man Noir#1 (2009)
Created By: David Hine, Fabrice Sapolsky, and Carmine Di Giandomenico
Our Take: We fully expect to this Spider-Man Noir to become a highly coveted figure, for years to come. Not only did he appearing in Into the Spider-Verse, but he is also voiced by Nicholas Cage (yes, the man who was almost Superman).
Spider-Man 2099 - Marvel Legends - Hasbro
Alter Ego: Miguel O'Hara
First Appearance: Spider-Man 2099#1 (1992)
Created By: Peter David, Rick Leonardi
Our Take: We read "Spider-Man 209"9 back in high school and college and loved it. Though technically he is now part of Earth-616's universe, he is still a man out of time. Everything from the design of the figure to his web like wings screams awesome.
Samurai Spider-Man - Meisho Manga Realization - Bandai
Alter Ego: Unknown
First Appearance: Unknown
Crafted By: Takeya at TAMASHII NATIONS
Our Take: This is just a stand-alone figure from Meisho Manga Realization line. We thought he was fantastic and perfect for what we are spotlighting here. We hope that Marvel tells his story one day.
SP//dr (Build-A-Figure) - Marvel Legends - Hasbro
Alter Ego: Peni Parker
First Appearance: Edge of Spider-Verse #5
Created By: Gerald Way, Jack Wyatt
Our Take: This is one of the 2019 Marvel Legends Build-A-Figures (full wave pictured below). We had our heads scratching about this one when we first saw it. Now we are all about Peni Parker!
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2-Pack (Spider-Man (Miles Morales) and Spider-Gwen) - Marvel Legends - Hasbro
Alter Ego: Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy
Universe: Earth-1610 (Miles), Earth-65 (Gwen)
First Appearance: Ultimate Fallout #4 (Miles), Edge of Spider-Verse #2 (Gwen)
Created By: Brian Michael Bendis, Sara Pichelli (Miles), Jason Latour, Stan Lee, (Gwen)
Our Take: These are the two most direct Marvel Legends for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. There was a full line of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse figures (more for the younger collector), however, we do expect this two pack (sans a few accessories) to make its way into the market as individual releases, one day.
House of M Spider-Man - Marvel Legends - Hasbro
Alter Ego: Peter Parker
First Appearance: Spider-Man: House of M #1
Created By: Mark Waid, Tom Peyer
Our Take: Ah, the "House of M", a great storyline that brought back Hawkeye to the 616 Universe. For Peter Parker, though it literally gave him everything he ever wanted and then ripped it all away from him, again. This is a cool design of the classic costume and part of that new SP//dr Build-A-Figure line.
Ultimate Spider-Woman - Marvel Legends - Hasbro
Alter Ego: Jessica Drew
First Appearance: Ultimate Spider-Man #98 (October 2006)
Created By: Brian Michael Bendis, Mark Bagley
Our Take: Leave it to Brian Michael Bendis to re-create Spider-Woman in the Ultimate Universe as a clone of Peter Parker with different chromosomes. A solid character and a great design of the figure bring a variation to the "black costume" to Earth-1610.
